Located on the bank of the Oxford canal,
The Granary is a haven for lovers of birdlife and gardens

Lucy and Mike Davies hope very much to welcome you to The Granary, our family run bed and breakfast. Our site will give you a taste of the treats in prospect for our guests.

Located on the bank of the Oxford canal, close to the village of Fenny Compton (between Banbury and Southam), and less than eight miles from the M40, The Granary is a haven for lovers of birdlife and gardens. It offers easy access to Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, and Northampton, whilst Oxford, the Cotswolds, and Birmingham are all within easy striking distance.

The Granary is a cleverly built barn conversion which offers guests a dedicated ground floor area. There are two double bedded rooms (the Red Room and the Green Room) and one twin bedded room (the Purple Room). Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. There is also a guest lounge/dining-room, and a dedicated B&B kitchen, where we prepare meals. There is secure off-road parking.

All rooms have garden views, and from the garden there are extensive views over the canal, the Burton Dassett hills and the surrounding countryside. There are summerhouses in a sheltered part of the garden where we serve tea when the weather permits. One of the summerhouses also houses a sauna which our guests are welcome to use.

We are on the Oxford Canal Walk and the Warwickshire Villages Trail. We are also close to the d’Arcy Dalton Way, the Macmillan Way, the Seven Shires Way, and the Warwickshire Centenary Way: we are happy to collect guests who are walking these routes from a suitable location in the afternoon, and return them to the same location after breakfast. Please discuss this with us when making your reservation.
